Introducing Parantaa

Parantaa Africa Foundation is a Zimbabwe-based nonprofit organization committed to improving opportunities for youth in underserved communities. Founded by individuals who had faced similar challenges in their youth, Parantaa aims to provide support in professional and personal development to help break the cycle of poverty.

Parantaa Africa Foundation recognizes the potential of underserved youth who are often held back by lack of resources and opportunities. By providing support in professional development, such as career guidance, job search skills, and resume building, Parantaa empowers youth to take charge of their future. Similarly, with personal development, Parantaa provides mentorship, leadership training, and life skills to help youth develop self-esteem, confidence, and resilience.

In addition to professional and personal development, Parantaa also assists youth in applying for opportunities such as scholarships, internships, and other programs that can help them succeed. By increasing access to such opportunities, Parantaa aims to help underserved youth achieve their full potential.

The founders of Parantaa Africa Foundation have faced similar circumstances as many of the youth they aim to serve. However, they refused to let those circumstances define them and instead, used their experiences to create an organization that can help others in similar situations. That's why the name "Parantaa" was chosen, which means to improve or become better in Finnish.
